vegan cafe, london, ukrainian

A young Ukrainian entrepreneur, who once practiced the art of confectionery in Ukraine, realized her dream of opening a vegan café in London. Elizabeth began her career by baking cakes and pastries for various holidays and events in Kyiv. And she always dreamed of turning this hobby into a professional venture by opening her own establishment. In London, she opened the doors of her café on Valentine’s Day, offering a variety of vegan pastries, coffee, and Carpathian tea.

Elizabeth explains that she initially planned to open a similar pink café with flowers and Ukrainian Carpathian tea in Kyiv. But the war prevented this. In the UK, she noticed a high demand for vegan products, so she decided to implement her idea here. Elizabeth does everything in her own way, as she was not satisfied with the local assortment.

Many people came to support the young Ukrainian, including 500 people on the opening day, most of whom were Ukrainians. This support is very touching for Elizabeth. She also thanks the Ukrainian community for their help in repairing the premises.

Running a business in London, Elizabeth faces numerous challenges, such as high expenses and low profitability. However, she tries to keep the business afloat and even uses part of the profit for charitable purposes in Ukraine.
